On Sunday, New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady will be playing in the Super Bowl but on the sidelines, he's fighting for an equally important battle. He's helping his life long mentor find an organ donor with a matching kidney.
Organ donations are also needed right here in Omaha.
Dave Eggers is a Liver Transplant patient; he received his liver from the Nebraska Medical Center. "One donor can save the life of a lot of people, I can't think of a more selfless gift than that,” Eggers said. 15 years ago his perfectly healthy body, got sick. "Found out my liver wasn't function properly, it was a Bile Duct Disease."
