On April 4, 2012, The Living Legacy Foundation, along with Donate Life Maryland, launched its first ‘Be Seen in Green Day’ social media campaign to coincide with the start of Donate Life Month. The campaign turned out to be a huge success and we are proud to share with you these incredible results!
Healthcare professionals, volunteers, educators, community groups, private organizations and the public at large really stepped up to make this day such a successful event.
We were thrilled to see so much participation from the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration branches during ‘Be Seen in Green Day.’Employees chose to wear their Green Day pin, a green shirt, green beads or other green flair in recognition of the day. Several local branches also received green baskets filled with sweets to thank their staff for their participation. Photos of employees in green were sent to the Donate Life Maryland Facebook page from Hagerstown, Baltimore, Bel Air, Loveville & Salisbury MVA branches. Everyone had fun wearing their green gear while raising awareness for this life saving cause.
