Kroger Won't Let Another Chair Go Empty

This month, Donate Life Ohio is partnering with Kroger encourage Ohioans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors!

All 198 Kroger pharmacies in the state will offer a free Green Chair pin to anyone who stops by their pharmacy in April, while supplies last. The pins are part of the statewide call to action, “Don’t Let Another Chair Go Empty.” Every other day, a chair goes empty in Ohio as someone dies waiting for an organ transplant because there are not enough donors.

If you shop at Kroger, be sure to stop by the pharmacy to thank the pharmacists and employees for helping us encourage Ohioans to register as donors.

And if you’re on Broad and High streets in downtown Columbus, look up! The Central Ohio Kroger division has generously donated space on their digital billboard to the Green Chair campaign.
