In a continued effort to help support and spread awareness for organ and tissue donation, Larson Financial, Inc has joined the Donor Alliance’s Workplace Partnership for Life program. Larson Financial is committed to playing an important role in supporting awareness of the continuing need for organ and tissue donors.
On April 20th, Larson Financial participated in National Donate Life Blue and Green Day by encouraging employees to wear blue and green in support of organ and tissue donation. Larson held a drawing giving away 5 Holdol Wear t-shirts designed by liver recipient Holly Werlein of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Holly is one of the Twelve Women of 2012 who were selected by Donate Life America and whose lives were transformed by organ donation. In addition to running her clothing line, Holdol Wear, Holly is also a multiple medal-winning athlete at both the U.S Transplant Games and the World Transplant Games and has been supported by Larson Financial for many years.
With many personal stories of organ donation that touch close to the hearts of Larson employees, the team is proud to be a part of the Workplace Partnership for Life. Employees are now looking forward to participation in the upcoming Donor Dash in Denver, CO on July 15, 2012. It will be their third annual employee team at this event.
