Mayor Bob Foster, speaks to the crowd gathered for National Donate Life Month. The "Flags Across America" campaign is part of a national effort to bolster organ and tissue donor registries during the the April observance.
Long Beach residents are being encouraged to sign up as organ donors at the Department of Motor Vehicles or online at www.donateLIFEcalifornia.org.
