MUNDY TOWNSHIP, MI -- In Michigan, about 3,000 people are waiting for an organ transplant.
The demand for healthy organs vastly outpaces those available for transplants, according to the Gift of Life Michigan's website.
Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson will be at the Secretary of State, 5512 Fenton Road in Mundy Township, today at 10:30 a.m. to promote April as Donate Life Month.
