Organ Donor Awareness, Lake Campus WSU

MERCER COUNTY, Ohio — Probably not many students and faculty on the Lake Campus of Wright State University know that sophomore Rachel Doseck of Botkins is alive today thanks to an organ donor.

Rachel received a heart transplant at age 10. She is approaching her tenth anniversary of her surgery.

Rachel organized and hosted a Organ Transplant Awareness Day on campus Tuesday, encouraging students and faculty to register as a organ donor.
