KMVT CBS News | Jay Michaels
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Back in December, we told you about organ donor Lacey Haye of Kimberly being honored in the Rose Parade.
She was one of 72 people whose portraits appeared on the "Donate Life" float. Today Lacey's parents were given the original floragraph, made of spices, seeds, and other organic materials. She attended the College of Southern Idaho.
Lacey was killed almost five years ago after she lost control of a small motorcyle and slid into oncoming traffic.
Join us next Thursday and Friday when Jay Michaels shares his two part series on organ donation. He'll tell us what happens in between signing up to become an organ donor and somebody else receiving your organs.
