It’s National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Week – and we continue our look at the work being done by the David Foster Foundation.

For 25 years – the Victoria-based foundation has provided financial support for families of children who need life-saving transplants.

CTV’s Andrew Johnson travelled with the foundation to meet kids across the country fighting for their lives.

But the sad reality is that some of them will die on the waiting list.

A look now, at how the chronic shortage of organ donors plays a part, and how you can make a difference.
