The event featured cake and giveaways and gave people the opportunity to sign up as an organ donor. Representatives from the University of Wisconsin Organ Procurement Organization and RTI Donor Services were on hand to answer any questions and share more information about the process.
In just five years, 22 SwedishAmerican patients donated more than 45 organs, potentially saving over 40 lives.
