Annual Elephant Run Benefits Organ Transplant Recipients

BUFFALO, NY - The Elephant Run has become a Mother's Day tradition in Western New York and this Mother's Day was no exception.

For the 6th year the run was held at The Marcy Casino on Delaware Park's Hoyt Lake.

Hundreds of people came out to participate in the walk/run that raises money for the Marcena Lozano Donate Life Scholarship Fund. The scholarship goes to college-bound students who have have been a organ transplant recipient in their life.

Participants could sign-up for either a 4 mile run or 1 mile fun run. There were also raffles, Zumba, and a bounce house to enjoy.
