The Family House at 401 Callowhill St. was created to provide temporary housing for organ transplant patients and their families, living donors and their families and transplant patients attending pre- and post-transplant hospital appointments. The site is for people who live more than 25 miles away.
Construction for the Family House began in 2009 and the facility opened last year.
