QR Codes Foster Quick Donations and Build Trustability

1 to 1 Media

QRmobile.jpgHuman beings have the propensity to give, but often lack the follow through. Filling out paper or online forms to make a donation or volunteer can become a chore that discourages the generous from giving both their time and money. But as mobile devices become more widespread, charities and other organizations are also working to branch out, developing techniques that cater to the digital age.

New England Organ Bank, which operates under Donate Life New England, a division of Donate Life America, has developed a new strategy that will include putting QR codes on future printed materials. By scanning the code, users will be directed to a mobile-friendly version of the donor form. Those who wish to register as organ donors can sign up quickly and efficiently with a straightforward, single-page form that makes giving the gift of life as easy as taking a breath.
