
UC San Francisco's John Roberts, M.D., has been elected president of the national Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network/United Network for Organ Sharing's board of directors. His one-year term begins in late June, UNOS said in a May 7 statement.
Roberts is professor of surgery and chief of the division of transplantation at UCSF. He currently serves as vice president/president elect of the board and chairs the organization's membership and professional standards committee.
