ZOCO Electric Bikes Supplies Bikes For Cystic Fibrosis Australia Ambassador’s Ride From Vietnam To Singapore Starting September 1st, 2012

Queensland, Australia (PRWEB) June 08, 2012

When Walter Van Praag, an ambassador for Cystic Fibrosis Australia and CF sufferer, first conceived of an epic 5,000 km ride across Vietnam and Singapore to raise funds and awareness for the condition, he knew he would need help from many generous sponsors. What he didn’t expect, however, was the overwhelming generosity he would receive from Queensland-based ZOCO Electric Bikes. In a recent announcement, ZOCO promised to make the ride a reality, by supplying the electric bikes themselves; specifically, the popular and rugged ZOCO ROSSA, which Walter and his team will be riding on the 5000km ride.

About Walter Van Praag and the Coughing4CF Vietnam2Singapore Ride

Walter Van Praag first gained notoriety in Australia and the international Cystic Fibrosis community when he cycled from Paris to Istanbul in honor of the cause in 2007; this 4,000 km ride landed him repeated stories on CNN and features across Australian and international press. Following this feat, Van Praag was named one of the Top 20 Australian Cyclists in The Australian Cyclist magazine and the ride even spawned a documentary and two books about it.

In this latest endeavor, dubbed the Coughing4CF Vietnam2Singapore Ride, Walter Van Praag and his team will once again put his body and his Cystic Fibrosis to the test in an epic 5,000 km ride from Vietnam to Singapore over the course of two grueling months starting September 1st, 2012. This is all in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and promoting organ donation.
