Emma Millea wakes up every day wanting just one thing: to be healthy. The 22-year-old has spent her whole life battling health problems after she was born with a faulty kidney.
She eventually received a transplant at age 14 but over Easter the kidney failed. Ms Millea is now desperately hoping her father Greg Millea will be a match to donate one of his kidneys for what would be a life-saving transplant.
But there are no guarantees his kidney will be a perfect match and Ms Millea's heartbroken family are pursuing every avenue, including a YouTube video and considering a public appeal, to help her.
She is too sick to join the official donor waiting list and her 23-year-old fiance Scott Bell is too young to donate.
"This time it's a little bit harder because it's the transplant kidney that's gone," Ms Millea said.
"It's a lot scarier because this time I could die. I'm waiting to go on the donor list but at the moment I'm too sick."
Cousin Jennifer Millea has created a video and circulated it online, pleading for someone to help.
