BORN weighing just 2lbs, little Bobby Kremer will never know the young mum who died just hours after giving birth to him.
Popular and vivacious Rosie Kremer fell ill during pregnancy and slipped into a coma.
Doctors delivered Bobby by emergency cesarean section nearly two months early but couldn’t save Rosie’s life and she passed away before being able to hold her tiny baby.
She died of an undiagnosed brain tumour and today Bobby remains in hospital.
Rosie’s devastated sister Jo, 26, said: “Bobby is getting us through it. He is a part of Rosie and we’re going to have to be strong.
“Even though she was so poorly she must have just given him everything she could when she was pregnant because he is just doing so well now.”
Little fighter Bobby will be in the special care baby unit in the RVI, Newcastle, until his due date on August 7 but is already reaching a healthy weight and only needs a little oxygen to breathe.
