This week, Donate Life America connected with many DMV officials to thank them for their role in registering organ and tissue donors. I work with our BMV partners in central and southeastern Ohio, and I know how crucial they are to helping us grow the Ohio Donor Registry.

I had the pleasure of representing Donate Life America at the Region II American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) conference. AAMVA is a non-profit organization that includes members from the motor vehicle administration, law enforcement and highway safety disciplines.

Since many states partner with DMVs to register organ and tissue donors, Donate Life was there to reinforce the work the Region II DMV (which encompasses 14 states and 2 territories) agencies provide on the frontlines of donation.
