With Men’s Health week coming to an end, this weekend many will be spending time celebrating the lives of the father figure in their life in honor of Father’s Day. No matter how you celebrate the dads, grandfathers, uncles, and mentors in your life- it is the memories made that will last a lifetime.
Thousands of families will be spending this weekend in hospital rooms and treatment centers as the father figures in their life await a life saving transplant. 74,031 men in the US are on the transplant waiting list as of today. That means over 74,000 families will be grappling with the fear that this may be the last father’s day with their loved one.
