Let your heart run wild for once. Help them. You cannot know how important life is until you are either faced with losing it, losing a loved one or simply meeting children like Bridget and Bradley.
With Bridget, it is somewhat the energy she has now with her new heart that moves you as well, but it is how full of personality she is at her age that you realize what the world almost missed out on when her heart was attacked by a virus and we almost lost her.
I met her at Annie's Playground where she took on the obstacle course like nothing had ever fazed her keeping up with her big sister and brother. At my home she used flower pots and pieces of construction remnant to build her own obstacle course. She acted as if she didn't know something could possibly be too heavy, too big, or too much for her to handle, not because of a frail heart but simply because she is so young.
She is only 4 yrs old. Bradley was kind and gentle and intelligent. He was pensive and he had it rougher after his transplant, but he loves to play sports
