WHEN Shaun Wilson-Miller passed away he left behind a powerful video message for people to live their lives positively.
The Mill Park teen's courageous effort to promote organ donation - even as his body rejected his second heart transplant - and his live life to the full message has touched millions of hearts.
Tragically, Shaun passed away on May 26, but many believe his legacy will stretch far beyond his 17 years.
Now he joins football legend and Reach Foundation co-founder Jim Stynes as a posthumous nominee for Pride of Australia.
Shaun became a HeartKids ambassador at 13 and endured close to 1000 operations including two heart transplants.
In his final days from his hospital bed, he organised a fundraising party at Lunar Park which raised $20,000 for HeartKids.
Cameron Miller, Shaun's father, takes solace in knowing his son continues to inspire those who met him, plus the nearly 3 million people who watched his powerful goodbye video, released on YouTube a few weeks before his death.
