It is National Transplant Week here in the UK from the 9th to 15th July. We are trying to raise
awareness of organ donation and, as part of this campaign, we have worked with NHSBT to produce a series of infographics to communicate the importance of registering for organ donation in an eye catching, easily understandable and engaging manner and encourage readers to take the next step and register online.
The infographic focuses on issues such as consent rates, waiting times for organ transplants, annual mortality rates due to lack of available organs, and the gap between people who believe that organ donation is the right thing to do versus people who have actually joined the NHS Organ Donor Register.
