In support of National Transplant Week, we have been writing blogs about organ and blood donation. Click here for more NTW blogs!

On 9-15 July 2012, it is National Transplant Week! NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), a special health authority in the NHS whose job is to provide blood and organs for the NHS as well as raise awareness for blood donation and registration on the organ donor register.

The MedSchool Project are hoping to help NHSBT raise awareness in Ashby School and to invite students and teachers to give blood. In the last few weeks, we have had a display stand at the school's sixth form centre and we will be running form activities about NTW. More updates on this very soon!

Together as a team, we decided to put up the stand at our sixth form centre. We have also been handing out leaflets and putting up posters all about NTW and organ donation.
