So I just joined the organ register today. I urge that every one of my readers do also! The link is found right at the bottom of this post!
Why did I join though? Mostly because when I die I want to still bring happiness to people after my death. This is how I picture it: I'm dead and there's a queue of a million Indians. All of them waiting for a penis transplant. They'll be fighting over it! I mean it's the right colour and massive! That's unheard of in Indian culture! If you think I'm exaggerating, I'm not! Two Indians may even benefit! Cut it in half there'd still be enough to benefit 2 of my poorly endowed brothers.
If they aren't there for my d_ _k, they will be there for my coronary arteries :D
Jogging back to the harsh reality of this all: only 1 to 2% of people who die are eligible to donate and so 8000 people are waiting on the register at any one time. Many of these people will die if they don't receive an organ soon. I'm not here to give a speech about all this. That'll probably just bore you! I'm just saying it how it is. And how it is, is that becoming an organ donor can potentially save multiple lives. That too, at no cost! You're not doing a thing, not even lifting a finger to save people. Why not do it? Personally I'm for making it an opt out system rather than opt in. I can't see why any person (except certain religious groups) would ever have a problem.
