So Holly Pereira has made an emotional video urging people to sign up to the organ donor register.
The 19-year-old has cystic fibrosis and will only live for a few years longer if she doesn’t get the transplant she desperately needs.
Holly carries a mobile around with her at all times in case she gets the call telling her that a pair of lungs have become available.
Her failing health forced Holly to give up her place at university and return home near Uckfield.
