
A man who crashed his motorcycle near Dillon was pronounced dead at 10:01 a.m. Friday, according to a representative at the AFL-CIO.
James Rulon Judd, 60, was unconscious on arrival and transported to the Dillon Hospital by ambulance. In Dillon, he was unresponsive and was Life Flighted to Missoula. At Missoula, he still had no brain activity and was declared brain dead. Judd is an organ donor and is currently on life support, so he can donate.
Judd was the president of the Utah chapter of the AFL-CIO. Judd was in Montana participating in the International Association of Fire Fighters motorcycle rally in Butte.
"He was a great laborer. He was a retired fire captain in Ogden, Utah. He lobbied for fire fighters and middle class America in general. He will be missed... he already is," said a representative with the AFL-CIO.
