The Center for Donation and Transplant unveiled its redesigned Donor Memorial Garden today.
The garden was redesigned by Albany Med staff and several donor families.
"It is for family members of patients who have died and become donors and for patients who have received an organ transplant," said Mike Thibault, with the Center for Donations and Transplant. "It gives them a time where they can come and reflect."
The garden was originally established many years ago as a way to honor the hospitals organ and tissue donors.
