Leigh-Anne Bromilow waits. She wants to hear her late husband Ashley's voice.
A few months have passed since he died. Since Leigh-Anne decided to turn off his life support.

The couple had missed the courtesy bus after a few drinks with friends in Calliope.
They tried to hail a taxi to no avail, so started walking.
That's when a car came from the opposite direction, its high beam striking Ashley in the eyes and dazzling him.
Ashley fell from the 4m culvert they were crossing.
He was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, where surgeons operated to relieve the pressure on his brain.
Reality hit hard when the doctors broached organ donation with Leigh-Anne.
