KIDNEY transplant kid Ty Moody is home in Cairns after Brisbane doctors found no signs of complications from receiving one of his dad's organs almost two months ago.

Ty, 6, and his mum Teresa Davis had been living at Ronald McDonald House in Brisbane since the transplant surgery on July 16.

Ty was happy to return to Cairns last week to be reunited with his younger brother Lane whom he now has more energy to play with since undergoing the life-changing transplant.
