ABC 22 Now

DAYTON -- The daughter of an organ donor who saved lives honored her dad at tonight's Dragons game.

Nine-year-old Carina Nikolai threw out the ceremonial first pitch in memory of her father Todd.

He saved three lives through organ donation and healed more than 60 others through tissue donation after he passed away in 2008.

"It means a lot to me since he saved three people so he's like a hero to me," said Carina.

Carina's pitch comes three days before her father's birthday. Story source
