Incredible moment mother listens to her son's heartbeat 23 years on from his death in a road accident

Gillian told how she went through a mixture of emotions as she embraced 35-year-old Mr Titley, who received his heart in a transplant.

Putting her head to a stranger's chest, Gillian Norris was able to listen to her son's heartbeat - 23 years on from his death in a road traffic accident.

She told how she went through a mixture of emotions as she embraced 35-year-old Daniel Titley, who received his heart in a transport.

He was just 11-years-old when he received the organ from Gillian's son, Stephen, after being warned without a transplant he faced just a year to live.

The 14-year-old Stephen was involved in a road traffic accident after in Leeds, Yorkshire, and died two days later. Continue reading
