Do you think you have a great story to tell? How do you turn an idea into a best seller?
One Valley woman said she trusted the wrong people with her idea.
Jessica Sneed paid a business called New Show Studios nearly $500 to develop her story -- a story she hopes will inspire others through their own struggles.
All her life, she has struggled with medical issues.
For the past few years, Jessica has been going through dialysis while waiting for a pancreas and kidney transplant.
She thought the ups and downs would make a good book.
"I'm hoping teens will read it think, 'Oh, she got through that, I can get through this'," Jessica said.
But she said the project never happened and with our help, she got her money back from the business. Continue reading
