Colorado woman, 50, whose husband advertised for a kidney on the back of truck has successful transplant

A 22-year-old man has come to the aid of a 50-year-old woman, by giving her his kidney.
Michelle Stewart's story made headlines this year after her husband Bob Stewart put up an ad seeking the organ on the back of his truck.
It included the line 'Wife Needs Kidney,' as well as a phone number for University of Colorado Hospital.
The Denver Post reported this week that Mason Holland was inspired to help Michelle after the father of his girlfriend served as a kidney donor.
Holland told the newspaper: 'It was super easy.
'I feel like there are these myths about kidney donation being this hard process for the donor, but it was totally fine.'
According to the Denver Post, Holland informed the couple of his intentions at a January event held on Michelle's behalf. The Stewarts found out Holland was eligible after speaking with him at a second function, the newspaper reported. Continue reading
