Organ donation advocates line U-M Diag to show need for donors

More than 100 people gathered on U of M's Diag to highlight the need for more organ donors. UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN

A line of people wearing yellow T-shirts stretched across the University of Michigan Diag Monday morning.

They were standing in line to make a point: 3,500 Michigan patients are waiting today for an organ transplant. Wolverines for Life, which organized the demonstration, also said 22 people die each day in the U.S. because not enough organs are available. Continue reading
