Lamar Odom is off dialysis and won't need a kidney transplant despite having suffered kidney failure after falling into a coma. Doctors are amazed by Lamar's miraculous recovery so soon after he hovered on the brink of death after suffering a dozen strokes.
Odom's health has improved so much he was moved out of the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) into a private room, TMZ reported Oct. 30. Lamar will no longer need the six hours of daily dialysis he did before as he continues his remarkable recovery.
Amazingly, numerous fans had offered to donate their kidneys should Lamar need an organ transplant. The 6-foot-11 former Los Angeles Laker, who has been bedridden since going into a coma Oct. 13, is now able to walk a bit with help. Continue reading
