Art installation celebrates organ donors

People who have donated their organs after their death have been commemorated in a new art installation at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

Just 39 per cent ofpeople in the South West are on the organ donor register. It's hoped the artwork will inspire people to consider donating their organs, whilst recognising the life-changing impact a transplant can have.

Ken Pattison lost his wife 2 years ago at the age of 65 after a brain haemorrhage. But Jo's organs went on to help five other people. Continue reading
