Young transplant patient hopes to inspire sick kids

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A local beneficiary of the “Make A Wish Foundation” is taking to the internet with the goal of inspiring kids like her.

Hadley Schoenborn, 9, is full of life after receiving a liver transplant just five months ago. The Columbus girl was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a rare disease of the liver and bile ducts that occurs in infants.

Even though Hadley’s transplant was successful there is the possibility that she may need another in the future.

She isn’t on the list as of yet, but in the meantime and between time of hopes and prayers, she has taken to YouTube and Facebook to tell her story and to inspire sick children everywhere. Continue reading
