Heart transplant man dies at 33: Family thankful for extra 14 years of life

A man who underwent a heart transplant after being told he had days to live - and survived a further 14 years - has died at the age of 33.

Greg Mustill, of Sibsey, was diagnosed with a cardiomyopathy 14 years ago, a condition in which the heart becomes weakened and enlarged.

Greg sadly and suddenly passed away at home on December 27, 2015 due to long-term complications.

Although his death was unexpected his wife Stacey is thankful for the extra time they got to share with him. ''Greg was one in a million and the best husband and Daddy you could wish for. He was so grateful to Papworth Hospital and he regularly fund raised for them. Continue reading
