Two local organ transplant recipients are scheduled to offer testimonials at a kickoff event Monday for Donate Life Month.

Steve Wicks, a 59-year-old heart transplant recipient, and Kyree Beachem, an 8-year-old quadruple organ transplant recipient, will share their stories at the 11 a.m. event held at Jameson Hospital's north campus, near the building's main entrance.

The event will also feature a flag-raising ceremony, educational information and refreshments. Jameson’s nurse executive, Barbara Bernardi, will emcee the event.
