GEORGETOWN COLLEGE PRESIDENT HELPS RAISE AWARENESS TO ORGAN DONATIONS

ABC NEWS

This is donate life month and more than 900 Kentucky residents are on the waiting list for a transplant.

This week Georgetown College is helping raise awareness for organ donations.

Ten years ago president M. Dwaine Greene donated a kidney to help save his cousin. On Wednesday he joined other school officials in raising the donate for life flag on campus.

On Friday the school’s baseball team is dedicating their game to a Georgetown Baseball player with Leukemia. It will be free to get into the game. To learn more about being an organ donor click here.
