Family Holds 'Fun Fest' to Honor Son's Memory

EARLYSVILLE, Va. (WVIR) -The short life of a little boy who died following an accident last year is living on through his organ donation, and in a way that reflects his fun-loving spirit.

Saturday, family and friends of Logan Gill gathered at Broadus Wood Elementary School in Earlysville, Virginia, to hold the first Logan’s Fun Fest.

Jeremy and Morgan Gill, Logan’s parents, are spreading a message.

"Time is so precious," Jeremy Gill said.

It's a motto they've lived by since that tragic day in May of last year.

“To love every second of every minute of every hour of every day," Jeremy Gill said.

Logan was just a week shy of his third birthday when he was declared brain dead following an accident. The Gill family donated Logan's organs, saving several other lives. Continue reading
