Honoring Older Americans Month in May


Did you know that in 2015 about 33% of organ, eye, and tissue donors were over 50 years old? There is no age limit on giving the gift of life.

In May, we celebrate Older Americans Month. To increase donor registrations, it is critical to address myths surrounding age and health. Anyone of any age can register to be an organ, eye, and tissue donor. And, anyone of any age can be the recipient of an organ, eye, and tissue transplant.
