Grandmother remembers granddaughter

ROLLA — A Branson family lost their youngest daughter when the vehicle she was traveling in experienced a tire blowout and flipped over several times Sunday in Rolla.

Kelly Floyd spoke with the Branson Tri-Lakes News about her 7-year-old granddaughter, Izabela, as well as her concerns for safety standards relating to car seats.

“She was such a beautiful amazing little girl with the biggest heart in the world,” Floyd said. “She would give her favorite baby doll away. She would stick up for herself if someone was doing her wrong.”

Izabela just finished her first grade year at Branson Buchanan Elementary School, Floyd said.

“It’s absolutely amazing what this little girl had inside of her,” Floyd said. Continue reading
