Saturday will be a bright day for a local family, who faced the unthinkable when both their twin baby daughters needed heart transplants before they turned two. Both will be home with new hearts.
"It's a light at the end of a really dark, long tunnel that we didn't think we'd see for a while," said Christine Roehling, the babies' mother.
Chloe Roehling went into Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in February, getting her transplant in May. Kendall Roehling joined Chloe in the hospital in June.
