Best dad in the world? Father donates kidney to save three-year-old daughter's life

Lee Chester, 37, made the brave decision after his three-year-old daughter Esme's kidneys suddenly failed and she suffered a stroke

A devoted dad has donated a kidney to his toddler daughter to save her life.

Lee Chester, 37, made the brave decision after his three-year-old daughter Esme's kidneys suddenly failed and she suffered a stroke.

Now, he and the little girl are recovering in separate hospitals, where they are both doing 'really well', the Manchester Evening News reports.

Lee, an account manager for Canon UK, didn’t think twice when it came to making sure Esme could have a healthy childhood.

After suffering kidney failure, the toddler had been forced to spend 14 months on dialysis - 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Continue reading
