St Johns Park High School students create DonateLife art exhibition

Heart to heart: Year 10 students from St Johns Park High School with teachers Donna Cooper, Angela Waesch, principal Effie Niarchos and Whitlam Library's Luke Carter at the exhibition.

Whitlam Library in Cabramatta has a wall of new artworks thanks to Year 10 students from St Johns Park High School.

The wall of posters forms the ‘Heart to Heart’ exhibition, showcasing the students’ creative work on DonateLife Week and organ donation.

Teacher Angela Waesch said students enjoyed the challenges of working with new technology, and researching the facts, myths and scientific breakthroughs around organ donation.

After the exhibition launch on Friday, students volunteered at a DonateLife stand at Fairfield train station, transferring their knowledge into community outreach.
