Ceremony honors organ donations

More than 118,000 Americans are waiting for the life-saving gift of an organ transplant. Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center will host a “Donate Life” flag-raising event at noon Wednesday, April 5 at 407 E. Third St. to recognize community members whose lives have been touched by organ donation. There will be a brief service, readings and bagpipe music. Coffee and cookies will be served.
