BARRINGTON — Friends and family are still trying to cope this week with the unexpected death of Jamison Minor on Sunday as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcyle racing accident in Concord, N.C. He was 21.

The Barrington-native was involved in an accident during the first lap of the American Flat Track singles race at The Dirt Track on Saturday. Minor was flown to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte where he died on Sunday.
