Nine-month old Luca Palmisano of Ewing likes hanging out with Ariana, his 3-year-old sister. He also enjoys splashing in the bathtub. When it comes to food, hide the bananas and sweet potatoes.

Nine-month old Luca Palmisano is just like most other nine-month-olds.

Except nine-month old Luca Palmisano has already died twice.

Nine-month old Luca Palmisano of Ewing is a living, breathing — keyword breathing — little bundle of miracle.

His mom, Ashley said it was a normal pregnancy. Ultrasounds were fine, no issues. Was born on June 21, 2016, right on his due date. Everything perfect at 7 pounds 2 ounces.

“Everything seemed fine,” his dad, Tom, told me. “But about an hour after he was born, I thought his color looked a little off so I asked a doctor to come in and size him up. It escalated from there.” Continue reading
