Royce Young shared a heartbreaking image showing wife Keri holding baby Eva, who died in her womb, in her arms
With pain etched on her face and her grief-stricken husband standing behind her with tears in his eyes, the heartbreaking moment a mother held her stillborn daughter in her arms for the first time has been captured in this single photograph.

Royce Young and wife Keri knew their child would die because she had a rare condition meaning her brain did not develop.

But they opted to continue with the pregnancy so her organs could be given to other desperately-ill children. They named her Eva, which means 'giver of life'.

Eva was stillborn, meaning their hopes her organs could be used to save a life were dashed.

Soon after, however, a call came through stating a recipient had been found for Eva's eyes, making her the first person in Oklahoma to donate a whole eye.
